Cottrellville Township has plenty of open space. It is about 75% undeveloped or agricultural land, with another 13% devoted to recreation. Marine City Airport is here. Cottrellville, organized in 1827, is one of the oldest townships in the state. Demographics

Parks: Algonac State Park is partially in Cottrellville Township on the St. Clair River.
